Coaching individual Leadership Character Traits: the Leadership
Character Index™ provides us with a route map to guide us through the development of Strength of Character. The first step is with the most mature traits to review whether we can accentuate them to maximise personal effectiveness.
Master Leadership Character Potential™ provides us with all we need to coach limiting immature traits or opportunities for growth into powerful mature traits which serve our leadership intentions.
This process is carried out over a three-month period with an agreed number of coaching sessions assessed to meet candidate needs and expectations.
Transformed Leadership post 360° Character assessment: a new
Leadership Character Index™ is undertaken but this time is also completed as a 360° report. his enables the candidate to a) see in which traits they have grown in their strength of character according to their own answers.
It also provides b)an additional view and comparison from colleagues, subordinates bosses and direct reports.
Following this comprehensive feedback session candidate and coach will agree next steps and whether there is a need to continue with additional character traits.
Final action is to agree a 6-month plan to monitor and ‘bed in’ transformed behaviour until habit is formed.
